There is no difference between modular and site-built homes as far as appraisals or financing. Lending institutions treat both types of construction the same. The construction process is similar to site-built homes, except your custom modular home is built indoors. A modular home must meet all the same state and local building codes and standards of a site-built home. By building the critical structural components of your home in a controlled indoor environment, Avis America can attract and retain the finest craftsmen, using well maintained, state-of-the-art tools. Since structural components are never exposed to rain, snow or mud, the chances of mold are greatly reduced. The modular building process never stops because of weather related delays.

A typical custom modular home can be factory built in five days. Once the home has been placed on its foundation, MACC or your own General Contractor is then responsible for finishing any remaining work. The finish work generally takes 4-6 weeks to complete.

Depending on your lot, we can supply you with either a modular garage (95% completed in the factory) or a panelized garage (finishes are done on site, vinyl and roof shingles are included).

Once again, depending on your lot and building codes, we can convert unused space in the attic and over the garage into livable space. This will add substantial square footage to your foot print.

We can build anything that could be done with site-building. We will configure and prepare your designated spaces to meet all your needs.

Although this is not part of the modular process, we can stub the plumbing in when we pour the foundation and cellar floor slab. We can add water closets, sinks, showers, tubs, steam and saunas and more.
